If perhaps you do not wish to be Pokey then you might consider being Gumby.I can assure that every one will notice you this Halloween.The Gumby adult costume is a classic one. The green bodysuit, comes with mitten, of the same material. The head with is a continuation of the outfit has red large eyes, and yellow plastic mouth, nose and eyebrows.

To fit it easily this outfit has Velcro closure. This Halloween you will be having lots of fun and imagination with the Pokey costume or the Gumby costume.

Pokey and Gumby are a classical TV episodes that has spanned over a 35 year period. Pokey is Gumby’ s best pal.  His creator, Art Clokey, has passed away on January 2010.

Art says that he never intended to make moeny with Gumby, but it happened. When his children were small Art used to tell them stories instead of reading to them. Some of the stories wre then incorporated into the Gumby series.  He loved all children and that was his intention when creating Gumby.

Gumby head shapes, a bump on his right was  birn from Ar’s father hair. Art had a photo of his dad who had a huge cowlick on the side of his head.  Gumby’s head shape coincides with Art’s head/hair shape.

The slender figure was a desire of Art. he wnate dto create a slender figure.The color of Gumpy is green because that reprenet the color of nature

I am sure everyone in America knows about Gumby, independently on the decade they grew up, So if you dress in this costume for this Halloween you will certainly stand out fro all other traditional costumes.

If you have not heard yet, Gumby has been in the news recently. So perhaps this is an ideal costume to wear this Halloween. When you hear that Gumby has been in the news, you woudl probably think he or his creator got an award for something, or the Gumby or Pokey birthday has come.

In this case was nothing like that. Actually it was quite a sad thing, at least that is my opinion. A person dressed in a Gumby Costume attempted to rob a retail store in the San Diego area. It turns out to be he did not rob anything and walked away. The police was lookiing for this person dressed in Gumby. Could have been a joke from his side, who knows. But certainly was not a fun thing for Gumby.

The alleged Gumby turned himself in a few days afte. The person who was dressed in Gumb y and teh second peron that were involved in teh attempted robbery turned themselves in to the police a few days later. They have now been released and that the case has been sent to the District Attorney’s office.

So if you decide to wear the Gumby costume this year, be prepared for people to joke with you about this subject.
